(1) Moxley Still Won’t Accept Cope’s Challenge

-Rene is interviewing Jay White in the parking lot when the Death Riders roll up, but Rated FTR are not far behind. A melee breaks out that works it’s way into the arena. They battle in the arena until Death Riders back out. Cope grabs the mic and reiterates his challenge to Moxley for Revolution. Mox gets on the mic and says Cope deserves nothing. Jay White then takes the mic and challenges the Death Riders to a tag match at Grand Slam.

⭐️Kayhan: Funny seeing Moxley and Rene almost interact… This started out kinda hot but it really fell flat with the announcement of the tag match for Grand Slam a sad consolation for the fans in attendance.

-Okada’s music hit during Hounds of Hells’ match against Don Callis Family, although Okada did not come out. The distraction didnt directly cost Hounds of Hell the match, but you can certainly say it contributed.

⭐️Kayhan: I’ll give this credit for being consistent and continuing the story, but I didn’t really like im this, not did i hate it. No points from me either way here.

(3) Ospreay & Don Callis Family Get Reps In Before Massive Grand Slam Tag Team Showdown… Omega Also Appears

Details:
-Ospreay comes out to face the “newest member” of Don Callis Family, which turns out to be Mark Davis, much to the surprise of everybody. Callis explains on commentary that he owns Davis’ contract. Will Ospreay proceeds to defeat Mark Davis.
-Post match, Ospreay reminds the audience he’ll be teaming with Kenny Omega at Grand Slam, and introduces Omega. Don Callis scatters at the sight of Kenny. Omega proceeds to talk up the match and future of the company before ending with the catchphrase.
-Later, Fletcher & Takeshita defeat the Hounds of Hell in warm up for Grand Slam. Okada’s music hit during this match as he has something going on with Matthews, but Okada did not appear.

⭐️Kayhan: The Mark Davis thing was kind of a surprise but also makes some recent events not make sense. Why didn’t Don Callis invoke this before and not have to face Davis? 🤷♂️

(4) Ricochet Bests Swerve and Steals Nana’s Nice Ass Robe

(5) The Gunns Want Their Gold Back, Step Up To Hurt Syndicate

-The Hurt Syndicate come to the ring to cut a promo praising Private Party, warning the locker room that their coming to hurt people and take titles, and challenged anyone to come out and step up to them. MVP does all the talking. The Gunns enter. MVP invites them to the ring. The Gunns are back and want their titles back. MVP says he respects their courage and their father, which is the only reason they didn’t get left layin’.

(8) Castor’s Bid For Help from the Hangman Backfires

-As Hangman answers questions on retiring Daniels, explaining that Daniels brought it on himsef, Max Castor comes by to see if Page would be willing to do the same to Bowens & Daddy Ass. Hangman doesn’t take too kindly to the encounter, following Castor as cameras cut away.
-Later, during MJF’s in ring promo, Castor shows up in the ring, looking to hide from Page. Page enters and chases Castor off as MJF berates Castor for interrupting his TV time. Hangman and MJF had a little moment.

⭐️Kayhan: Max Castor came outta from no where. Not a bad way to get him involved with Hangman. I thought that funny... Also, Funny how Hangman and MJF just keep running into each other. I actually really like how they’re doing this.

⭐️Kayhan: Well, this seemed unimportant but it really wasn’t a bad scene. Christian was funny but the show did little to accentuate this angle.

(10) Dustin Rhodes Has Had Enough of MJF… Wants a Piece of His Ass!

-MJF cuts an in ring promo, criticizing Jeff Jarrett for last weeks loss. After an aside with Max Castor, Dustin Rhodes comes out to promo battle with MJF. Dustin checks MJF for running down people’s personal lives, invoking Owen Hart’s name, and explains that as a sober person, he knows the devil and it’s not Max. MJF proceeds to criticize Dustin, saying it took 37 years to get out of his father’s shadow only to be in Cody’s now. This prompts Dustin to attack MJF. Security breaks it up as MJF gets a low blow in on Dustin and gives Daniels a few words on the way up the ramp.
-Later, Dustin cuts an angry promo on MJF.

(11) Toni Storm’s Mariah May Impersonation Drives Mariah Up the Wall

-Mariah May joins commentary to watch Toni Storm vs Aminata. Storm comes out dressed as Mariah, and does Mariah’s moveset to defeat Aminata. Mariah is visibly upset by this the entire time. Post match, Toni Storm is interviewed, mimicking Mariah’s mannerisms.
