STORYLINES:
(1) CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre
-CM Punk cuts In Ring promo boasting about beating Seth Rollins and talks winning the Royal Rumble. To Punk’s dismay, Seth comes out. Seth says he promised he would return no matter the result of last week’s match, but is angry about losing and wants to destroy Punks dream of winning the Royal Rumble by winning the Rumble himself. Drew then comes out and gets into it with Punk & Rollins, but changes topics and talks how Roman Reigns is on the rise and he wants to get to that title before Roman does, by winning the Royal Rumble. Drew backs out and the segment ends.

⭐️Kayhan: All right. All right. I liked this. i was worried about how they would continue Punk & Seth after the clean ending but this is nice. Drew coming in to face off against Punk was also nice and nostalgic😁.

⭐️Kayhan: Solidly worked match. This is what these guys should be doing. It wasn’t anything earth shattering or moves we haven’t seen from Penta before, but it WAS a very coherantly worked match, and that already makes it one of Pentas best matches. Things will really heat up when Rey Fenix comes in and they can have TLC tag matches🤤.
⭐️Vlad: It started bumpy but ended great. I'll go with 1/2 👍 because the promo they had him cut was way too long for a Spanish speaker.
⭐️Robert: The springboard leg drop (not sure what that move is actually called) by Penta looked really awkward, but other than that, this was a good debut.
(3) Finn, Damian, JD, Carlito, Dom, War Raiders
-Backstage, Judgement Day prepare for Finn’s street fight. JD is adamant that they must defeat Damian in order to regain Tag Title from War Raiders because Damian’s the reason they lost those titles. Dom offers to be in Finn’s corner but Finn tells him to go worry about Liv, who seems irked after losing WWE Title.
-Damian Priest & Finn Balor face off in wild street fight. Priest and Balor went off the equipment cases through a table and during commercials, EMTs prepared Balor to be taken away, but Damian wouldn’t allow it, attacking Finn’s worried Judgement Day friends and drags Balor off the stretcher and into the ring to finish the match. Judgement Day enter to help Finn but War Raiders enter to neutralize them, leading to a Damian victory over Finn after a Razors Edge through a table and a South of Heaven. Damian also made it a point to tell Finn that he “is not his brother’s keeper” before the pinfall.

⭐️Kayhan: Well hopefully the book is closed on that. I liked it overall but i want something new. Move someone to Smackdown… As far as my review of this match. It was pretty amusing dragging Finn off the stretcher. So I say it was worth it to drag out this feud. This was a fine ending.
⭐️Vlad: I fell asleep here so how good was this?
(4) Finn, Carlito, Dom, Liv, Raquel
-The rest of Judgement Day sees Liv for the first time since losing to Rhea. Finn sarcastically tells Liv he is sure she will be champion again soon. Liv says she’s it wasn’t all about a title, that she accomplished her goal of taking something from Rhea. Dom appears with roses and Liv claims not to be mad, but then tells Dom to get her bags. Dom as relieved to hear Liv isn’t angry but the rest of Judgement Day dont agree with Dom’s assessment.

⭐️Kayhan: Believe it or not, this actually intrigued me as to what’s gonna happen next. I get the sense Liv could leave Dom, but where would that leave Dom then after dropping Rhea for Liv. If he’s left without a woman he will look like such a loser. His character is already getting rocked if he’s just gonna be Liv’s errand boy now. I’m giving this a 👍 for making me curious about what will happen.
(5) Sheamus, Kaiser, Bron
-Sheamus defeats Kaiser.
-Post match, Sheamus confronts Bron Breakker, who is at ringside watching from the audience, and they get into shoving match.

⭐️Kayhan: I would give good grades for the work. As far as the match and post match angle, neither of them excited me too much.
(6) Sami Zayn, Seth Rollins
-Backstage, Zayn offers Rollins an ear to talk to after losing to Punk. Rollins asks Zayn if he will continue to help Roman after Roman is back at the Head of the Table, or is Sami going to help himself? We leave the scene with Sami seemingly deep in thought.

⭐️Kayhan: All right. I really like this. It is a good question. Is Sami just gonna go back to being a Roman lackey now? What would be better for business overall?
(7) Kross, Miz, Wyatt Sicks
-Karrion Kross leaves Pierce’s office having learned the Wyatt Sicks have been moved to Smackdown. Kross warns Miz that he better not have had anything to do with that. This development seems to have broken Miz’ relationship with Kross, who refuses to help Miz against Sami Zayn later on.

⭐️Kayhan: Well I liked the Kross & Miz off couple. I for one hope it’s not quite over.
(8) Miz, Sami Zayn
-Miz insults Sami Zayn backstage, which leads to a match. Due to an unrelated development, Final Testament will not help Miz. Miz is on his own for the night.
-Sami Zayn defeats Miz.

⭐️Kayhan: Solid match work-wise but skippable in my book.
(9) Gunther, Jey Uso
-Gunther cuts an In Ring running down everyone in the company for their drama but claims his World Title is the most important prize. Jey Uso enters to step up to Gunther. Gunther says Jey has guts but is nothing more than a good tag team wrestler. Jey Uso tells Gunther that Gunther will respect him after he beats Gunther for the World Title at Saturday Night’s main event.

⭐️Kayhan: My half thumbs up is for Gunther getting back to form with his arrogance and insults. Other than that, I am not too excited for this match. See no chance of a title change.
(10) Lyra Valkyria, Dakota Kai
-Lyra defeats Dakota to win Vacant Women’s IC Title tournament and become inaugural champion.

⭐️Kayhan: This warmed my heart. I actually could not decide who I would give this to if i was booker but i can’t argue. This is the epidomy of bringing up hard working talent and giving them a spotlight on the main shows. I thought they put on a fine match, and I hope they can keep the women’s midcard division going from here and not just forget about them.
(11) Rhea, Nia Jax, Bailey
-For international audiences, Bailey is interviewed, talks being from San Jose and leads a crowd chant calling Michael Cole an idiot.
-Rhea cuts an in ring promo boasting about being World Champion again when Nia Jax enters. Nia says she’s using the transfer window to tell Rhea in person that she’s winning the Royal Rumble. Nia also insults Bailey, who is at ringside, and Bailey’s hometown of San Jose. Bailey jumps the rail to confront Nia, calling Nia a big dumb idiot. A scuffle ensues between Nia and Bailey, followed by one between Rhea and Nia before Rhea & Bailey run Nia off.

⭐️Kayhan: I liked the surprise of Nia being at Raw. I like the WWE starting to sett up the Royal Rumble. Bailey came in strong with “big dumb idiot” line. Starting to get excited for the Royal Rumble…
