TheMalapertSmark: I am only reviewing this from the aspect of an AEW fan and anything that relates to AEW. Not much on this night. Far more the following night on Wrestle Dynasty.
But for this show, I will comment on how Takeshita is a dual champ in Japan now as well. Seems he’s gonna be splitting time there. He may as well, since AEW ain’t pushing him. But i’m not too fond of the idea of Takeshita, among others, coming back to the states with more belts😵💫.
I enjoyed Tanahashi’s career match against EVIL.
As far as the main event and Zak Sabre Jr, I found it boring. Not a fan. I’ve seen him on AEW, but I find the grappling boring and not even realistic.

- Mayu Iwatani (c) defeated AZM to retain the IWGP Women’s Championship
- El Phantasmo defeated Ren Narita (c), Jeff Cobb and Ryohei Oiwa to win the NJPW World Television Championship
- Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated EVIL
- Konosuke Takeshita (c) defeated Shingo Takagi (c) to win the NEVER Openweight Championship and retain the AEW International Championship
- El Desperado defeated Douki (c) via referee stoppage to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship
- Yota Tsuji defeated David Finlay (c) to win the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship
- Tetsuya Naito defeated Hiromu Takahashi
- Zack Sabre Jr. (c) defeated Shota Umino to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship
