STORYLINES (In order of appearance):

(1) Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Kevin Owens

-Cody comes to the ring to cut a promo on his upcoming match with Kevin Owens, also announcing he’s not cleared to do anything medical tonight. Drew McIntyre’s music hits. Drew praises Cody’s accomplishments and says he’s not here to be an enemy but a friend, warning Cody that Cody’s run could soon be coming to an end considering the neck injury. Cody is wary of Drew’s praise, tells Drew he doesn’t believe the friendly approach and tells Drew that Drew wants a title shot, he’s ready. As tension permeates and Drew backs out of the ring, KO hits the ring and gets an attack in on Cody as officials come out to intervene.

-Later, Cody bumps into Aldis and Cody tells Aldis he’s doing a good job as GM trying to protect his wrestlers but that he is the champion and deserves to call his shot. Cody also mentions that if Drew wants to be on Smackdown that Aldis should welcome him in.

-Nakamura defeats Andrade to retain United States Title.

⭐️Kayhan: The solid match spot on the card. They sure got plenty of time to kill now. We’ll see how long they can keep up a streak of solid midcard title matches.

(3) Nakamura, LA Knight

-LA Knight hit the ring to attack Nakamura immediately after Nakamura’s win over Andrade. Nakamura escaped right as Knight had Nakamura in the BFT. LA Knight cuts promo telling Namamura he’ll get what’s owed to him, which is a US Title Shot.

⭐️Kayhan: Makes sense LA Knight would hit the ring and demand to be next in line. Didn’t mind this. But I’d like to see Knight regain his title, unless someone’s gonna come out of no where and mess it up for him.

(4) DIY, MCMG, Pretty Deadly, Legado De Fantasma, Crews

-Backstage, Crews accuses Pretty Deadly of lying for about Legado attacking Street Profits. Legado come in and confront Pretty Deadly, who deny accusatations. Nick Aldis enters to prevent a physical fight. 

-Backstage, Aldis tells Pretty Deadly & DIY they are on thin ice. Pretty Deadly & DIY continue quid pro quo. DIY dangle title shots for possible help.

-Tag Team Title Match between MCMG & DIY ends in no contest as Pretty Deadly & Los Garza get involved. Los Garza tries to prevent Pretty Deadly interference but their altercation bleeds into the match right as DIY look close to tapping out, and the ref calls for the bell.

⭐️Kayhan: The end of the match was so funny. I could see the interference pouring into the match a mile away😄. I liked the finish. Sad for MCMG but it was amusing.

-Michin defeats Piper Niven who is accompanied to the ring by Chelsea.

⭐️Kayhan: This feud has been lacking something since Chelsea won the US Title. It feels like Chelsea & Michin two blew it off when they had that Dumpster match and can’t come close to that now. Hopefully Chelsea does some dastardly thing to keep this title reign going. She can’t lose it this soon.

(6) Nia Jax, Naomi, Bianca, Candice, Tiffany

-Naomi video package airs. 

-Nia Jax defeats Naomi to retain WWE Women’s Title in a match that had Candice and Bianca heavily involved from the outside, and also saw a near MITB cash in, as Tiffany cashed in but retracted the cash in.

-Post match, Tiffany turns on Nia, nails Nia with the briefcase and throws Candice out of the ring. After Bianca hit a KOD on Nia, Tiffany finally cashes in on Nia and wins the WWE Title. Nia never got to her feet as the ref rang the bell for the match.

⭐️Kayhan: Nia didn’t even get to her feet and they rang the bell! Not fair. 

⭐️Vlad: Finally Tiff cashed in. Wasn't worth the crappy angles but still pretty good moment here.

⭐️Robert: It's about damn Tiffy time that this finally happened.

(7) Paul Heyman, Solo

-Paul Heyman comes to the ring to cut a promo. He rues Solo taking over the Bloodline and using help from people “who aren’t welcome in the US,” emphasizing that Solo stole the tribal chiefdom. Solo enters and tells Heyman that if he loses to Roman, he will acknowledge Roman. But if Solo wins he wants Heyman to bestow the Ula Fala on him and Solo will also own Paul Heyman.

⭐️Kayhan: If Solo wants Heyman in the Bloodline so badly, then why did he kick him out in the first place? And where is everyone else? Everyone’s too busy to show up for the go home for the big Netflix debut?

(8) Sami Zayn, Carmelo Hayes, Jimmy, Jey

-Carmelo bumps into Sami backstage and tells Sami he had him beat least weak. The Usos come up and ask if there’s a problem, to which Carmelo says there isn’t and walks off. Sami was happy to have the back up.

⭐️Kayhan: Funky little scene. Funny seeing Sami with a buncha firepower backing him up. This was nice for fans of Sami Uso.

(9) Jimmy, Jey, KO

-Backstage after Jimmy and Jey backed up Sami against Carmelo Hayes, Jimmy & Jey bump into KO and they have a tense moment. Jey tells KO to watch where he’s going and KO tell the Usos to watch their back.

⭐️Kayhan: I like this. If KO should have beef with anyone, it’s current Bloodline members. KO really should get involved and try to cost Roman on Monday.

(10) The Bloodline, OG Bloodline, Drew McIntyre

-The Bloodline defeated the OG Bloodline in a 6 Man Tag Team main event in a match that saw Drew McIntyre come to ringside to distract the Bloodline. In the end, Solo, Jacob and Tama Tonga defeat Jimmy, Jey & Sami.
