The Malapert Smark: I am only commenting on storylines that relate to AEW, since i don’t follow New Japan. m
I was disappointed to see the International Women’s Cup 4-Way was only on the pre show. that’s a star studded matchup from my pov over here stateside. But the ending bat shot to Athena’s head looked wicked.
House of Torture is a great name for a stable.
Mercedes and Mina was the best thing i’ve seen from either one in AEW.
Kenny Omega’s match was pretty hard hitting. He definitely didn’t hold back, although Gave Kidd did a ton of selling. He definitely put the wrestling world on notice with this one.
Not a big Young Bucks fan. Kinda wish they’d stay in Japan and run angles over there as champs, but I suppose they’ll be back on AEW to brag about it.
Not a fan of Zak Sabre Jr style of wrestling. I find the grappling boring and not even that realistic looking… Been a fan of Ricochet’s recent heel persona but i don’t think this felt like a Tokyo Dome main event.
