STORYLINES (In order of appearance on the show):

(1) Joe Hendry, Ryan Nemeth, Rhino, Nic Nemeth

-Joe Hendry cuts a promo on the entrance ramp promising to become World Champion at Genesis. Ryan Nemeth comes out to express his mistrust for Joe Hendry and claims Hendry is tarnishing the reputation of Nic Nemeth’s title run. The crowd gave Ryan a very hard time. Ryan also claims he was going to defeat Rhyno later tonight and invited Joe Hendry to attend. Somehow, Hendry moves the match up to take place right then & there.

-Rhino gets DQd against Ryan Nemeth, using a steel chair that Ryan brought into the ring. Ryan bailed out before eating a 2nd chair shot that the crowd so desperately yearned for. 

-Ryan Nemeth is shown in tremendous pain getting checked out by a doctor. Nic Nemeth comes in asking what happened. Ryan told him about the chair shot before Rhino comes in explaining Ryan brought the chair in. The Nemeth’s challenge Rhino to fight when Joe Hendry comes in offering to be Rhino’s partner, claiming it’ll be a preview of his World Title triumph at Genesis. Santino makes the tag match for next week.

-Nic Nemeth comes out on stage to cut a promo putting over Joe Hendry. Ryan comes out and says Hendry is a snake. The crowd boos Ryan to which Ryan tells then to stop booing Nic. Nic leaves annoyed, leaving Ryan alone on stage. Ryan tells the audience they’ve upset Nic and leaves himself.

⭐️Kayhan: Ryan Nemeth is really killing things for his brother. i don’t know what’s up with ryan nemeth. he might be one of the most annoying people ever. i hope tna figures this out sooner rather than later. this can’t keep going on. 

(2) Jordynne Grace, Tessa Blanchard

-Gia Miller interviews Jordynne Grace regarding being attacks by Tessa at Final Resolution. Grace said Tessa took her ball and went, and she won’t allow her to just “retake her lockerroom.” Grace promises to be ready for Tessa tonight.

-Later, Jordynne Grace is shown waiting backstage for Tessa before her partners for tonight’s tag match inform her it’s time for their match. Santino leaves a security guard at the backstage entranceway to watch for Tessa.

-Backstage, the security guard Santino left standing guard is shown beaten up. No one saw what happened. Santino is distraught about the situation.

-After Jordynne Grace helps her side pick up 8 Knockout Tag win over side of heels (See Storyline #7), Tessa hits the ring and drags Jordynne Grace to the back. Tessa beats the crap out of Jordynne, uses a bag to drag Grace out of the arena by the throat, and disrespectfully slams the gate closed.

⭐️Kayhan: Man they really putting Tessa over strong here. Jordynne, especially. Well. if you wanna get heat, this is pretty solid. Tessa slamming the garage door on jordynne and kicking literal dust on her… doesn’t get any more disrespectful than that. I give TNA credit for going all the way with this. I am enthralled. 

(3) The Rascalz, The Hardyz

-Backstage, the Rascalz gush over their fandom of the Hardyz and express desire for a tag title match. The Hardyz show up right then and there and give the Rascalz their wish. Match is set for Genesis.

⭐️Kayhan: This is gonna be a nice match.

(4) Kushida, Ace Austin, Moose

-Ace Austin defeats Kushida in hard faught match 

-Ace Austin cuts a promo post match thanking the fans for their support of Chris Bey, and tells the story of how Bey told him to go on a crazy singles tun without him. Ace expressed his desire to go for the World Title. Moose comes out and tells Austin the X-Division Title is now the flagship title in TNA, and that if Austin is scared he should go after Nic Nemeth. As Moose invokes the name of Chris Bey, Ace Austin is infuriated and tells Moose he would beat him for the X-Division Title right now! Santino comes in and makes the match for Genesis.

⭐️Kayhan: Lovin moose as the x-division champ. Solid reign so far. A matchup with Ace austin, is gonna be great!

(5) Maclin, Young, Gresham, The System

-Maclin & Young are shown arguing backstage when The System roll by talking about angling for a tag title shot. Maclin, Young and Gresham attack the System and brawl ensues.

⭐️Kayhan: This was kinda weird but i liked the spontaneity. Seems Young and Maclin want to go after tag title gold and attacked the System guys just for mentioning that as well? like i said, weird but i am amused by it. 

(6) Santana, Northern Armory

-Santana cut an in ring promo reiterating his desire to overcome obstacles become the man in TNA. Josh Alexander comes out with his stable and tells Santana he’s all talk, and that he will never be the man as long as Alexander is in TNA, reminding Santana of Alexander’s success over Santana in the tag division, as well as rubbing in the fact that Santana won no titles since leaving TNA while Alexander ran TNA. Santana retorts insinuating Alexander got ahead due to politicking, and challenges every member of the Northern Armory to a gauntlet match next week.

⭐️Kayhan: Good stuff. Alexander’s promo was strong. And Santana challenging every member of Alexander’s stable makes him look like a strong babyface. He probably won’t beat all 3 but coming close will make him look good. 

(7) Masha, Jordynne, Spitfire, Rosemary, Tasha, Ash, Heather

-Masha, Jordynne & Spitfire pick up 8 Knockout Tag Team victory for babyfaces over Rosemary, Tasha & the Elegances.

-Post match, as the babyfaces celebrate, Tessa Blanchard attacks Jordynne Grace and drags her to the back (See Storyline #2). During that commotion, the heels had an opening to attack the faces in the ring and stood tall to end the show.

⭐️Kayhan: I’ll give this credit for carrying on the Spitfire/Elegance feud. But this was just a vehicle to get to Tessa’s angle at the end. 

(8) Kazarian, Leon Slater, JDC

-Backstage, Kazarian offers Leon Slater his mentorship and at first Slater things it’s a nice idea. But when Slater learns he’ll be Kazarian’s trophy bearing errand boy, he says he can blaze his own path. Slater exits and JDC enters. Kaz and JDC both seem to want to mentor Slater and brainstorm nicknames for Slater together.

⭐️Kayhan: This was a little awkward but i see it as a positive because Leon Slater definitely did the right thing to not come out of this looking like a little bitch. should be a solid match.
